One other thing, I have noticed a domain for this game hasn't been taken however it is pretty much self explanatory and I was wondering whether because they own the game as a whole including it's name etc would it be possible to register under a domain or would it need to be abriviated?
Any information regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated, muchos gracias mon petite peni!

Modifying images still need copyright clearence from the originator weather that be a site or company, and if your taking the screeners from another source other than from your own PC/Console, again, you still require permission to reuse them.
There was a significant change made to the copyright act last year in aspect to digital images and using modified images, I have an electronic copy at work so I'll try to dig it out for you.

This is only valid in the UK and the copy should be held by a solicitor. Global copyright is very expensive.

Just use somwhere on your site:
©2004 "Site Name".
"Site Name" is not affiliated with Tecmo or Microsoft.
All trademarks are property of their respective owners.
That should cover it, because that basically is acknowlegding the copyright ownership. Also, a very easy and cheep why of copyrighting your site that holds as evidence in court (relevant to the [©2004 "Site Name"] part, it you don't do this or have copyrighted it throught the copyright agency you can't put that) is to send yourself you site on CD via recorded delivery (Royal Mail) with date and signitures and do not open it. This the when opened in court as evidence shows that you created the site by the date that the parcel was delivered on.

There is no reason to stop you buying any domain name, they are not in this context connected to copyrights to my knowlegde.
Hope that helps,
S.A.
You can use images and logos as long as you leave copyright notices at the bottom just explaining that you don't own them and that you have nothing to do with the game.
As with the site, do the same thing, just use the name and put a disclaimer. If you're promoting the game MS won't do anything as you're helping them, yet if you set it up to say how bad it is they'll probably kill you.
