Disturbed - Shout (orignally by Tears For Fears)

Godhead - Eleanor Rigby x 2
Unclassic -
Anything covered by New Found Glory
So what are your favourite covers?
Easy by Faith No More, originally by The Commodores
N.I.B. by Ugly Kid Joe, originally by Black Sabbath
Cats In The Cradle by Ugly Kid Joe, originally by ... erm ... don't know
Hush by Kula Shaker, originally by Deep Purple (I think)
Handbags And Gladrags by Stereophonics, originally by Rod Stewart, although someone else may have done it before him
How Soon Is Now by Love Spit Love, originally by Morissey (I think)
Feeling Good by Muse, originally by Nina Simone
It's My Life by No Doubt, originally by The The
Have A Cigar by Foo Fighters and Brian May, originally by Pink Floyd
Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith, originally by The Beatles (I think)
Johnny Cash ~ Hurt (Nine Inch Nails[!]). Incredible.
Lemonheads ~ Ballad Of El Goodo (Big Star).
John Mayer ~ Kid A (Radiohead). Interesting take on an odd song.
Counting Crows ~ No Scrubs (TLC). Odd decision.
And in contention for the worst cover ever:
The Darkness ~ Street Spirit [Fade Out] (Radiohead). Twunts...
How did I forget about Subterranean Homesick Blues?!?
Absolutely brilliant. Look at Dylan's original, see what the Anthony Kiedis and co. have done to their own version and you know just what a great job they really have done.
Just the way a cover should be done - making it as of 'your own' as you should for the chance to cover such a piece of musical art.
Fozzy - The Prisoner (Iron Maiden)
Fozzy - Over The Mountain (Black Sabbath)
> Avril Lavigne- Chop Suey! (System of a Down cover)
HA-HA-HA! That one really made me laugh!
I know you've said to stear-clear of it, but, sorry, I'm gonna have to try and find it simply to LAUGH again! :D
> Lemar- I Believe in a Thing Called Love (Darkness cover)
Music Today has sunk to an even-lower new low... And it's sinking fast! :P
Fire
Crosstown Traffic
Castles Made of Sand
Also, there's Hey Joe[/V], which I think is a cover of a cover (because Bob Dylan did it first).
Another cover the Chili Peppers have done the I really like is of [I]Search and Destroy, originaly by The Stooges. Bloody brilliant live!
Jamie Cullum - Wind Cries Mary (Jimi Hendrix)
Rancid deserve to be shot for their cover of Bob Marley's No Woman No Cry, pure sh*te.
'Nuff said :D

It was Daphne and Celeste. Probably the worst Alice Cooper cover ever; turning 70s hard rock into pop music doesn't work.
