Edit: How very interesting. The 6 O'Clock news (BBC) earlier, when they just got the information, stated he'd "stepped down". Now, on the 10 O'Clock news said he was "sacked". Hmm.

I've not long found out the details of his long awaited(by me) leaving.
Following the SIB investigation, one of the papers higher-ups called him into her office.
She said that the paper would like to change its stance towards the pictures.
He said that he didn't want to.
She said, fine, and security escorted him out of the building.
Ha ha! That will teach him! Pig ignorant swine
I think it was funny that just hours before the report by SIB, he said, "We printed the truth..." What blind iggnorance/ arrogance.

No, if you put all these people into a room, and first of all, make them read their own papers, then all the 'classics' of literature they're supposed to defend because it's 'proper', and all the other righteous causes they defend because they narrow mindedly hate anything that doesn't fit into cynical and hypocritical Western society, then make them be scapegoated by the country for all its inherent problems, then chucked abuse at them, torture them, rape them, abuse them, then let them escape and they try to go to another country for a better life, where they're called scum, then I'd be happy.
