In the final bathroom scene where James asks, "Mary, could you be in this town?", the scene begins showing some mops and buckets in a corner and the camera pans right to a door. PAUSE the movie where you can see the door. To the left of the door are a bunch of writings. The writings are in Hebrew. Now, because I saw it on a crappy monitor I cannot make out what it all translates to... but will do my best for you.

One word means "Bahl", and Bahl was one of the Old Testament gods that was worshipped which God found evil in His eyes. Remember Hebrew is read right to left. I dont have Hebrew fonts on this computer and it's really hard to describe. It's the word with the "X" looking letter in the middle and is to the right of the picture on the wall. The other word (I think this is the writing but it is blurry) underneath is "Eeshah" and means woman. There are several other words that I cannot make out or even attempt too.

This certainly sounds like our beloved SH developers in action, resurrecting old Hebrew gods as usual. From what I know, Bahl was much more feared than Samael, so James might have his hands full! As for the "women" part this could be Mary or the child seen sitting on the wall. That fact that "Bahl" is now the evil force then this game will most likely take place after the first game, because Samael is often shown as a "menchman" or some one who sets thinks up for Bahls arrival.

I how this has helped to shed some little on the possible story line for some of you out there.

I saw a rolling demo on a dvd from PSW. It looked a little freaky to be honest. I`ll find out more before I make a decision though.

As far as i know SH2 is out at the end of the year (boo). Believe it or not i'm looking forward to this more that MGS2. The first game was so awesome because of its mysteriousness (sorry if i've mispelled) and i'm hoping the second outing will be identical with just a presentation uplift.

Very interesting. Why don't you write to the makers of Silent Hill 2 (sorry but i don't know who they are) and ask them about it. I can't really see why they wouldn't help out. The character Mary in the game is suppose to look excalty the same as main characters wife who has been dead for about 3 years. I can't remeber much else about what the plot is suppose to be like. That might have somthing to do wit it.
Is Silent Hill 2 out now i haven't heard anything about a release date and i haven't seen any adverts for it either.
