If you have it in 60hz as well, it actually makes the screen quite small.
But it's so good you don't notice.
what's the point in being so picky and trying to look clever? it just makes you look pedantic and arrogant.

No, the game has borders regardless of tv type. The only difference with widescreen, is that you can zoom in to remove them.
