There are a couple of things that would be interesting to try on a trial basis.
How about MSN style emoticons for smileys. They would make texts more interesting. Or the addidtion of Bold, Italic and underlined, maybe even a choice of message text. Obviously, this is open to be abused, but strict rules concerning their use could be made.
Another interesting thing would be desktop themes. You know, Screensavers boasting the Special reserve logo, and active desktops with direct links to the site. This would be very good.
Another thing may be live or delayed webcam links to The SR HQ. 'see what the SR crew is upto today'. There could even be options for users to upload their live webcam footage!
And what about an official photo gallery. There could be pics of Tony, Ali, Webmaster, and all the SR regulars!
Another Forum members area could utilise 'About Me' areas, where users post a small autobiography, photos of themselves, and links to their favourite websites. E-mail adresses could be swapped, and, this is a little far-fetched, but an actual chat room service, but only for people who actually sign up, not the riff-raff of the web. They could even have an area for new product ideas, and people could vote whether they think it is a good idea or not.
How about background sounds? A sound or piece of music playing in the background, optional of course.

And now the cream of the crop. A new forum........... Ask SR!!!! Here you can pose the questions you have always wanted to ask, and be sure of a reply!!!

There is also the fact that at Ukdiscussions.com, when you click on say, Future of gaming forum, it takes you to a list of forums. It should take you straight to the forum you chose.

Apart from this, the only way I think the site could be improved is if I won gameaday more often! :-D

Actually, Meka looks a lot like I pictured him.

I think not. It's always something of a let down to see that someone you know on the net is a mere mortal...I'm resisting the temptation to try to get hold of the pic of meka that appeared in the mag ;)

I wouldn't mind seeing some pic's of the regulars. It's allways nice to but a face next to a name.......... or is it? :-)
