Heh, when Newcastle were playing the Saints last night, their rookie keeper made a world class save from Mr. Shearer.
"Are you Niemi in disguise?", they started singing. Made the corners of my lips upturn.
And also Sir Bobby at the end. "He made some world class saves. He had no right to make those saves."
It's good to see he's respecting how well the Saints played to hold them to 3-3, and isn't acting all angry and arrogant etc about missing out on 4th.

Great match to watch. Shame Newcastle snatched a last minute goal to snatch a point. Thought Newcastle were the better team, but at least they didn't win.

Nope, he was out with a gashed arm or something. Antti Niemi was taken off late on because of illness, and was replaced by Alan Blayney.
