Now I'm sure he was one of the club's best players this season...
He says he wants to stay in England though. Surely most clubs (except for ARSEnal, Chelsea and Man Utd) would be interested in him...?

That is pretty stupid. He's one of the best free kick takers. While Anelka can hit them, from distance Michael Tarnat is the obvious choice.

It *may* have something to do with his age - he's coming up for 33 or 34 something like that.
I wouldn't be suprised if there was a huge clearout for City over the summer after the season theyve had, the likes of Bosvelt, Sibierski, Sommail must be on there way after such a poor season.

Hmm, he scored some cracking goals. He needs to stay in England, so we can get some more next season.
City are pretty stupid to let go of him. He is one of the best passers in the Premiership and has a cracking shot from freekicks. Definatly a bargin.
