I met with a field director who is currently involved with the Hitch-hikers movie. It's being made partly in the new Elstree digital studio in about 9 days time.
He told me that fans of the radio show and books will NOT be disappointed with the sets as they look spot-on, particularly the Resturant At the End of the Universe. He couldn't say more than that as he wasn't allowed, other than to confirm Warick Davis {willow, Star Wars et al} was Marvin.
Also of interest, one of the designers for the Star Wars books has seen all the designs for ep3 and says the styling is a good mix of ep2 and ep4 for the craft. He hinted that there may well be a shiny Xwing in there somewhere (before looking around to check that Lucas wasn't behind him and about to lynch him!). More Star Wars in the main convention topic when I write it, including my talk with Greedo!
