I think I'm pretty clued-up about computers, however there's something I just can't get my head round.
I have a Radeon 9800 (as in the non-pro, non-SE - the crap one, basically). I used to get a stable framerate of 62~ when playing MOH:SH (With Graphics Card settings in ATi's control panel to full, in-game settings on full, 1024x768). However, I Overclocked it to 9800Pro speeds, and, guess what, it's still at 62.
I can't for the life of me work out why this is.
Any help, please?
Thanks,
Chipseh
I've turned it off now. If I start to experience cutting I'll turn it back on.
And yes, I've overclocked the memory a lot more than the GPU.
It's nothing to worry about.
As a side note, when overclockiing graphics card, you should aim for a higher memory speed in favour of a higher GPU speed.
Ive had experiences with some programs allowing me to change the numbers but not save the settings.
Have you seen an increase in 3dmark score?
