The post-match interview with Ranieri made me respect him even more, which I thought wasn't possible, considering the level of respect he has earned from me already.

When posed with the question, "Do you see yourself here next season", he didn't spit out the seemingly obligatory, "I don't know" or, "I don't want to discuss this right now" or, "I haven't been told anything".
Nor did he attempt to avoid the question.

He gave his honest opinion. Despite the mass speculation, he gave an opinion contrary to it all, and remained optimistic. He said that he doesn't bet on these thing, but he doesn't close his door. Classic Ranieri.

But what I'm trying to say is, is that had it been any other manager in that position, they'd have rattled off the prepared "I honestly don't know" malarky.
Nope, he gave his thoughts while at the same time effectively saying, "Why not?", and defying the large majority of people claiming he'll be gone.

The guy is class - he'll be a sad loss to Chelsea, and even more so the Premiership if he goes to a foreign club.

Discuss the genius of Ranieri.

He was really good because I was 200 metres away from him and spent the whole game waving at him.

he snapped off camera and tried to eat my fase.

But I gave him some chewing gum.

Now hes happu.

Yes, okay, but just because Sir Bobby has managed into his seventies doesn't mean that Ranieri will, does it now?

Yeah, Gordon Strachen was similarly honest, he was a great manager too. If Ranieri does get the sack from Chelsea, which in my eyes he certainly should not, yet almost definitely will, I am pretty sure that he'll probably go back and manage in Italy or Spain. Then again he might just pack it in as he is into his fifties now.

Apparantly Jermaine Defoe desperately wants Ranieri to be the Spurs manager, and whilst I don't think it'll happen, it isn't off the cards.
