I've managed to get my hands on an old Amiga 1200. Does anyone know where I can get software for this? I'm especially after music software to exploit the midi capabilities of this ancient beast. Also, I'm after things like joysticks (for multiplayer games) and any other peripherals. Does SR sell Amiga stuff? I know they used to , but I can't find any on the website. Help me please!

wow thats a tough one,I would have said second hand pawn shops but they don't trade Amiga software anymore.

Soundblaster is the ultimate music maker on the amiga and has some fantastic built in tunes.

If you can get hold of some games,Get curse of monkey island, cannon fodder, desert strike, soccer kid, rick dangerous and there's loads of em.

top stuff!

For peripherals try Cash Converters, and second hand stores. As for games and software try looking on the Amninet online... theres a lot of good software and games that are now free to download for this old yet beautiful machine....I hope your machines got a HardDrive, my A1200 couldnt live without it :-)

250 Mb willk take care of all your needs, 500Mb and your sorted for life!
