Looks to be a very very interesting program, if only for these two comments;

'I dread to think what'd happen if they got control of the oil rig - think of the fall out!'

and,

'My main concern is the rape, AIDs and other sexually transmitted dieseases!'

I love yelling at people on TV.

Saw it. Wonderfully infuriating.

The best bit;

'These people come from countries where women wear Burkhas - and they'll be coming to beaches where teenage girls wear practically nothing! Do you know what the parents are fearing?!'

I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the same thing, was this that program about an asylum center somewhere in the UK with many locals protesting...? (the first comment about an oil-rig seems to indicate it's something different, but the second comment about the aids and that sounds like something said in the advert...)

I saw an advert for that thing and found it hilarious. Some middle-aged, middle-class woman moaning that all the asylum seekers would be smoking and have aids... Yes, because the british youth of today NEVER smoke, and NEVER have casual sex do they you smegging idiot. And also, what does it matter if they did happen to have aids? Unless you're planning to lay a few of them, which based on her obvious distaste for anyone not from the same small-minded island as her, I doubt she was, you're not going to catch it are you?

I mean fair enough, the right to free speech and all, and if there are genuine reasons why the area isn't suited to an asylum center, fair play to them, but stupid people coming out with comments like that make me angry and feel the need to punch something...
