"Where is the Supposed Sony PS2 Price drop?"

For months now we have heard rumours of a Price drop for the PS2. But where is it? Ive heard nothing for a good while now.
Could they be holding out for Christmas? I hope not, I couldnt be annoyed waiting that long!
£299 with NO game and NO extra Mem-card or joypad is too steep of a price.
Has anyone heard anything recently?

There is a point if they want to keep up with the rivals at christmas. :)

PS2 is selling very well. No point in price reduction.

One things for sure, I really doubt the price of the PS2 will be dearer than either Gamecube or X-Box. All three companies know that Christmas is a time where kids ask their parrents for a computer, and the parrent (who normally hasn't a clue about consoles) go out and look for the best bargin.

I think that the price drop will be before Christmas, but after June.

It'll go down £50 when the Gamecube and Xbox come out!
