monkey_man - I fully accept that view point and I take your views seriously. We as humans think we are clever - we are 'moving forward' in the world and getting cleverer - but we're actually just creating our doom in chips, which will one day be used by the Anti Christ. The technology behind the Mark is extremely clever and at times seems useful - cutting down on fraud and bother, but it will be implemented by the Anti Christ himself.

Hey, maybe a chip in the hand wouldn't be so bad. Just wave it at the person behind the till to pay for my stuff, won't need a wallet, and I'll probably have a cool LCD screen in the palm of my hand that does Internet banking and doubles up as a phone. Best of all, no-one can nick it unless they cut of your hand, in which case you'll probably die of blood loss, so it's not like you'll need the money for anything.

If you ask me, that's an improvement on your God's crappy design. I can't wait for the rapture, so that all you whinging little Christ-bags can f**k off to Heaven (or whatever that gay club's called) and leave the rest of us alone to live in perfect harmony.

No matter what it is, people will take it. The antichrist will be the world ruler and all nonbelievers will love him. Anyone who doesn't take the mark will die. It's not a case of yes or no. it's take it or die. The Church (the Bride of Christ) will be gone, rapture out years before. The 144,000 will be here, as well as the thousands of converts (more like millions). The Bible pictures him as someone cunning and crafty. After all, he's Satan in the flesh, the serpent from the garden of Eden who's been hounding God's creation for millinia.

Basically the Mark of the Beast - will be something the Anti-Christ will enforce upon people - they will not be able to buy or sell without the Mark. The Mark will probably be a microchip and will work with regular scanners at the supermarket.
