Do you think there should be some changes to the ballot paper in the general election?

Perhaps we could add a "I don't care" tick box.

Or maybe a "You won't do anyhting you've said if you win, so what's the point?" tick box.

Or perhaps, like all good surveys, a "Any comments/Suggestions" box, where we can say what we think.

So, thoughts?

I think a "Reopen Nominations" box would be a good idea. Enough people tick that, and all candidates who stood are rejected and new candidates must be picked, and the election fought again. But then, I just like making things difficult for lazy and corrupt governments...

We already chose - it was David Blaine.

How about a: "4 years isn't enough to sort things out, so next election we'll vote for someone else again anyway," box?

I can kind of see the point of making the effort.
At least then you know people are counting your voice instead of assuming you're just a lazy bum.

Given that statistically everyone's individual vote is irrelivant, I figure the argument for making the effort to go tick abstain is just as practically useless and as principally justified as going to tick any other box.

Would people really journey to a polling station just to tick "Abstain"?

How many sheets do you get? :^D

I heard they were planning to do an 'abstain' box. What happened with that?

I'd like a box where we could write the name of the celebrity we would most like to see publicly hung.

The person with the most votes dies at the Tower Of London.
