Let’s start with the Triple threat match this week. Booker T, RVD and John Cena battled it out to see who could demand respect in the back and perhaps worm their way into a title frame. Booker T and RVD were both coming off losses in previous weeks and this was Cena’s first match since the return of SRW. Booker T picked up the win, only for Cena and RVD to team up and take out Booker. Is this a new tag team? What are the reasons behind the heel turn of Cena and him possibly joining forces with RVD? I’m sure we’ll find out in the coming weeks.
The Big Show cut a promo and picked a fight with Goldberg! Insane or not, the run in attack from Goldberg failed and the Big Show stood victorious after a huge chokeslam! What will happen next between these two giants?
Next up, the grudge was to be settled, as Randy Orton took on The Hurricane but there was plenty at stake. If Orton won, he would get a Euro-Continental title shot. If The Hurricane won, he would get a Cruiserweight title shot. It was a hard fought match and the result saw Orton and The Hurricane both laid out on the outside and the referee counting to 10. Batista ran to the ring and threw Orton into the ring just before the 10 count, giving Orton the victory. Orton will receive a Euro-Continental title shot, probably this week, although that is yet to be decided. The aftermath was a shocking turn of events for The Hurricane. Rosey, The Hurricane’s tag partner ran to the ring to carry the injured Hurricane back up the ramp, only for him to push The Hurricane off the stage! Rosey has promised to explain his actions on Eclipse next week! What will happen here?
Cong Man takes his tally to 2-0 against Evolution after Cong Man beat Batista. Will he continue to be a target to Evolution? Will Cong Man look for the complete set by beating Randy Orton with the possibility of the Euro-Continental to sweeten the deal? Or will Cong Man want to set his sights a little higher after 2 solid victories? Find out next time!
The Rock has been in a bitter feud with Christian and Chris Jericho. The Rock has beaten Chris Jericho and lost to Christian in previous weeks but the numbers game is starting to tell, as a beating after every event is almost inevitable. This week, Christian wanted some payback after Reaver cost him a shot at the Euro-Continental title. Reaver agreed to a one-on-one match, only for him to make The Rock the special guest referee! Chris Jericho and Jetster were later banned from ringside and interfering in the match. Reaver won the match with the 450 Splash but it was a fairly quick count by The Rock and Reaver was not pleased. The Rock was about to the hit the Rock Bottom when Jericho attacked The Rock with a chair in the ribs. The double attack couldn’t keep The Rock down as he battled back and double Rock Bottomed Vitamin C. The Rock may have injured ribs and he will be discussing some issues next week. Will he go after Reaver? Has he got someone in mind to even up the numbers against Vitamin C? We’ll find out next week.
The Hardcore title picture is starting to come together after weeks of trying to find the one person who is crazy enough to carry the title that is synonymous with pain and suffering. We had the final fatal 4-way match to find the last participant for the Hardcore title. It featured the previous Hardcore champion, The Jackal, Edge on his return to SRW, Jonny Hammer, the rookie being trained by Grandprix and Anarchy, continually rivalling Reaver in a bid to be the World Champion. During the match, Anarchy complained again to Reaver about being put in matches for inferior titles and it looked like Anarchy was going to get his hands on Reaver but it was not to be. Jonny Hammer, the rookie, picked up the win and progresses to the title match but The Jackal was thoroughly disappointed about losing and drilled Jonny Hammer with the Jackalknife powerbomb and showed his disgust to Jonny and the fans. What will happen here? Will The Jackal force his way back into the Hardcore title picture? Will Jonny want some revenge even though the biggest match of his career is not far away, knowing the brutality of The Jackal?
On the other side of the picture, Krusher attacked Hawk after losing his shot and also went after Scotty Dogg. This week, Scotty got a match against Krusher. Krusher controlled most of the match against the high flyer Scotty but Scotty hit his finisher, the Crazysault, and was just about to get the 3 count, only for Stone Edge to hit Scotty with a chair for the DQ. Would Krusher have kicked out? Who knows, but Hawk took out Stone Edge and Krusher after the match and declared that he wanted Krusher to feel all his power. He cut a deal with Reaver and Krusher has 2 options. Hawk V Krusher one on one or a 3-way for the title between Hawk, Krusher and Jonny Hammer. As we’ve seen The Jackal wants in on it too, so what is going to happen in the Hardcore title picture? Krusher will make an answer to Hawk’s question next week!
We are on now to the main event picture for the title. Stone Edge has been on a roll since his the return of SRW and the main event wasn’t announced until Grandprix made a response to the Evolution beatdown last week. Grandprix called Triple H out but Benoit came out and challenged Triple H to prove his title credentials to Benoit. Grandprix decided to settle this by making a tag team match, Triple H and Stone Edge against Benoit and Grandprix. The match went ahead and the result saw Benoit snap and lock Triple H in the crossface on the outside, refusing to let go and possibly injuring Triple H and Scotty Dogg, trying to cost Stone Edge a match, hitting Grandprix with a spear, allowing Stone Edge to hit the Power Stone for a surprise win! This triangle seems to get more complicated every week and what will be the repercussions of it? Triple H seems to have his hands full with Benoit. What will happen between these intense characters? Will Stone Edge want revenge on Hawk after the chair shot after the Scotty V Krusher match? Will Grandprix want to avenge the defeat to Stone Edge or the interference by Scotty? Does DoA still exist? Find out next week!
That’s your lot! Keep it tuned to SRW! Until next time, I’ve been Grandprix. Thank you for reading.
> Hmm...Congie, are you writing matches?
I could probably squeeze one in this week.
Also, I will be writing the Highlight Reel. :D Well, thats as long as I can think of a good guest... Any volunteers? :P

LAME EXCUSE, KID! Used that one before, so try a new one, or something. >:c(
On another note, nice nice Matthew. I'm really hooked on Anarchy's feud (... ;cD), and I can't wait to see what Rosey has to say about his actions!
And woah, I didn't realise how many intertwining different feuds we have here in SRW.
I'll start work on the Eclipse tonight hopefully, assuming I don't faint due to lack of sleep lately hehe.
Nice one Matteh.
