My latest temp job is sorting through postal applications for the next election (whenever that is). Basically, letters are sent out to everyone who voted Tory on the electoral register and if people want to vote via post, they have to return the form that was sent out to them. Except they don't always get sent to Conservative voters, and quite often people take offence at being asked to vote for the Tories - understandably, they reply, and it's not just harsh words they use either.
So far today, I have seen people return:
Fish and Chip Menus
An envelope that appeared to be wiped in poo
One that, when opened was covered in talcum powder (or anthrax)
And plenty of threatening letters, that are written by people who are either 11, or retarded. Quite often they think that because the letter has Michael Howard's name on the top, that by replying to it they're actually speaking directly to Michael himself. Which is why it's funny when you read letters like 'Michael Howard you C**T, you'll be DEAD before the rotten TORYs get in, you W**KING ROBBING B***ARDS' (and it went on). It's great, because instead of just screwing it up and throwing it away, these nutjobs scribble their demented thoughts on the paper, package it up and go and post it back again! Right on!
My favourite was one that simply said at the top of the page 'YOU HAVE NO CHANCE'. Excellent stuff, I'm in full agreement.
