Reports in the paper today said that Alan Shearer may be joining the BBC footie panel once he retires for good.
He may be a good footballer but my god he's the most boring git alive (maybe behind Michael Owen, speaking of which that bloody Persil advert is annoying) and not exactly one you want to be discussing a football match, not unless you fancy a good few weeks sleep anyway that will result in having to listen to his droning voice.

I actually think, whilst Alan Shearer isn't great on a panel, that he is a decent pundit. Obviouly nothing compare to Andy Gray, but considering Alan Smith (who is absoulutely terrible) gets on quite a bit I think Shearer would be far better than him.
