I mean to think about it there cant be many more ideas to implement that havent been done already. I believe The Simpsons may have had their day - Its been a long while since we last saw a truly hilarious episode, there was a time where every episode shown was like this!! Unfortunate as it is the ideas a running a bit thin and the current series is lacking the cutting edge that made it as successfull as it is.
What do you think??
Although I find since its much more plot-driven that it doesnt have the same rewatch value?

Futurma is brilliant and probably one of the most underated shows! Bender is very good yes!
About the film I don't think it should be made it could backfire but I will probably go see it anyway!
I got the impression a few years ago that Matt Groeing was getting a little tired of working on the Simpsons, and that he pretty much wanted to drop the whole cartoon and move onto new projects...
Equally, over the past few years, the Simpsons has lost its hand polished feel, to a much more corporate, mass market feel, Simpsons by numbers affair... especially given the number of episides that dont really have a decent storyline, and that just fall apart at the end of the episode...
