My mouse does that.. :-)
Handy they may be, but they are very annoying when placed right above the arrow keys on the keyboard of someone who enjoys motor racing games. Net loss to me: Several pounds on a keyboard that was rather irritaing and ruined many a race.
Its worth paying a bit more just so you can have a keyboard that is responsive to your every touch, and just looks darned cool.
A cheap, bog standard regular keyboard will probably cost you under a tenner, but if you want a really good, fancy shaped modern one it'll be about two or three times as much.
