I'm finally beginning to realise that, and God knows how it took me this long, there are actually a select few on these forums who post frequently whom actually have a mental age more than about 7. Seriously. Sure, there are those who rarely post, though - the usual suspects.

Though of course, I've known for ages there are plenty of fools on here - that's plain to see - but to be honest, it's near impossible to make good conversation on here anymore, which is what kept me here in the first place. I'm now merely returning here out of habit.

And it's a shame really. FOG Chat used to be a great place just to natter about random topics, and now it, or least its succedor, really is filled with a cess pit of drool from the seemingly incessant drivel.

It's the recent contributions of spam, abuse - whatever - that has finally disheartened me to be honest. [Note: Not simply tonight's (well, last night's) load of crap - it's always happening
No, this isn't another, "I'm leaving because you're all w***ers and I'm better than you - beg me not to leave" thread - of course it isn't.
I'm simply just telling it like it is, and pointing out how thing's have declined so greatly recently. When it started, who's to say. 100 days ago, 200, 3.

That's not important. What is, however, is the blatant fact that Gen Chat is just diabolical. You may think I'm taking this too far, and I expect the usual, "It's just a forum" stuff - but yeah, though that's obvious, Gen Chat is the only forum where you can chat... generally. That's what it's for. And that's why I'm, I dunno, annoyed at the fact it's impossible just to talk on here anymore without some kind of idiocy plaguing it.

But it's picking up, or at least, is carrying a reputation for "where all the crap goes", and it shouldn't be like that. There's nowhere to just, like I said, natter away harmlessly anymore. I doubt many, if any, will read all of this at all, let alone pay any attention to what the words say. But here it is anyway.

My original intention was to simply write a paragraph stating this, but I found myself typing more. Oh well.

Anyway, let's face it: Everything's been going downhill since the late 1990's. The whole world is slowly falling apart, and so-many of us hate everything we see and do around life. It's quite depressing, really. EVERYTHING.

It goes much further than this stinkin' forum, kid...! :I
