I've been playing it with a bunch of my brother's mates for the past 2 hours and I'm getting a few mates over to play it in a moment.
Ah I love it so, a true Gamecube memory.
That said, it's still a lot of fun to stick an album on loud and spend 40 minutes doing the all star cup.
But it should have been better, much better. Removing the crappy karts and sticking to the old ones would be a good start.

I bought my Gamecube because of Double Dash since I had enjoyed MK64 so much. I was however dissapointed because it felt inferior to MK64.It is not a bad game it just isn't as good.In MK64 the courses were much better and I think the whole experience was much better. It was the first time I had played a Mario Kart game and it was amazing but the next game in the series did not live up to it.It was a good thing I had got Sunshine,Prime and Windwaker with my Gamecube because then I would have got bored quickly.

If you want a challenge go and beat all the Staff Ghosts.

I have played Mario Kart 64. Have you played it recently, the graphics and frame rate are appalling, especially on the Donkey Kong one. Still, a great game. Fantastic multiplayer. Though PD had the best multiplayer ever.
