I've been playing it with a bunch of my brother's mates for the past 2 hours and I'm getting a few mates over to play it in a moment.
Ah I love it so, a true Gamecube memory.
It's a shame that battel mode wasn't as great, as the actual racing is second to none.

I have played Mario Kart 64 since, got bored and went back to Double Dash!!

I actually played it yesterday. :-)
That was 4 player battle with mates.
The graphics and frame rate are actually perfectly acceptable for a 4 player battle on the Block Fort, actually. I think visually it's still a fine game. There are a couple of frame rate issues on some courses, but they really don't make much of a difference.

If you want a challenge go and beat all the Staff Ghosts.
