Sure you've all read about the unofficial leaked demo; it can be downloaded (all 360mb of it) at

first though to get it to work properly, frame rate is terrible 17fps with XP2200 and Radeon 9700 ! it hasn't been optimized yet - hope the official demo comes along soon.

Think I'll start downloading this tomorrow morning after the americans have gone to bed, may as well check to see if its playable I suppose.

I did read somewhere that Id are trying to make the game playable on lower end graphics cards, even as low as GeForce 2. Could be absolute nonsense though, but still, be great if they did.

I didn't realise it was coming out on Xbox, prehaps UT2003 and Quake 4 will follow ?

maybe even a geforce 4 wont be required..........

But at E3 they said Doom 3 was coming to the Xbox.

True - but then when you consider the graphics card you need to run Doom 3 costs more than the consoles, without the rest of the PC... :-)

what after UT 2003 etc then?
UT 2004........ i feel slightly worried TOO many sequels will come out.
