Hi all,

Thought it would be nice to hear peoples thoughts on this years Formula One season, so decided to make a new thread for the topic.

Details of BBCs coverage have been posted on their website .

It's certainly better than it could have been and at least all the races will actually be shown in some form on BBC One.

A good race, some interesting twists and turns made by decisions over pit-stops, drivers not committing to overtaking and a bit of luck/lack of it in the technical department.

As should be the case in F1, Driver, Team and Tech come together to make the race after a close fought qualifying.

Last race of the season should then decide the final standing of all the drivers, everyone is motivated to get those last important points, not least the teams nearer to the bottom who have everything to win/lose.

Yep, a great race. Really enjoyed that.

Cracking race. Won't say too much incase people haven't seen it, but once again another classic grand prix of the 2011 season. Can't wait for Singapore. Some very interesting battles.

MP's demanding BBC to answer some certain questions about the SKY deal. Could be interesting! Martin Brundle also said on his Twitter account last night, that he hasn't re-signed with anyone for next year. Would hate to loose Martin has a commentator, but judging by his comments I think he's trying to focus fully on the remaining races.

They shouldn't have zones, it should be up to the drivers when to put DRS on. More dangerous? Yes. But also more fun.

As for today's race; Hamilton was robbed of a podium, but I don't think it was anyone's fault. Button was brilliant, making up 10 places.

Classic Spa race, and wihout rain too!
Anyone else agree, or disagree?

P.S. Though beginning to think that maybe the DRS zone was a bit too long...

What a intense Qualifying session! Maldanoaldo looses five places, even though he keeps proclaiming his innocence. Wish we had the camera angles the FIA had, but I do agree that it looked like a deliberate move. Either as revenge, or to try and be on the racing line. Not sure what happened to Shumacher's tyre. Must have been quite a shock, but glad the tyre stayed on the gravel. Those things are quite deadly...

Looks like it might be raining this weekend. It's Spa though, so nothing new there. Interesting reactions from team bosses toward the Senna/Heidfeld story.
