Got my copy this morning and played for a bit before I go to uni. Here are my first thoughts:

Training mode is much better. You have to first pass a skill 1 then move on to skill 2 and so on to skill 5 which is pretty damn hard. Ain't managed it yet - Skills include shooting, passing dribbling etc

Gameplay is good but it will take time to get used to

I thought there was a libero grande part to the game?

Team names are all wrong as are some of the player names - guessing a cheat cd will be availble soon

Played round a mates house 2 weeks ago a japanese version and the teams were fully updated - not this one. Sheringham still at spurs, Chelsea team from last year plus duff

Overall good but I prefer Pro evo 2 better for some reason. May change over time though

Peace

To get to the Libero Grande mode, when you move your blue cursor from left to right to select whether you are playing as home or away press L1 unitl the gbar that is moving changes to Fix. Then when you start your game you choose your player.

I'm also finding the gameplay a bit strange, especially the dribbling. How good a player is at volleying seems to be random, Figo is much better than Zidane.

One's on initial impressions, another on who has it, and the final one is asking where it is, Though after the initial posts, they do seem to be talking about the same thing, obviously.

I'm playing it at the mo with a few mates, and we all have similar impressions. You can't really out-run anyone, even with the likes of Owen and Henry against Hierro etc. Replays seem a bit too slow, and sometimes ruin what you may have thought to be a really good goal. There's lots more, but i can't be bothered to say as i wonna get playing it again. Overall, a great game, but only a slight improvement on number 2.

How many PES points do all of you have?

I have over 4000 now - having mates around for a big tournament and completing pretty much all of the Challenge Training mode certainly helps. That and having already completed one season of the Master League. Came third so I didn't get promoted, but this season I will, as I've brought in some quality players.

Top game.

I think that gameplay-wise it's a large improvement over PES2, but it is quite hard to skin people. But, if you know the tricks, it's, well, great.

I have almost done season 1 on master league, four games left to go and i am currently joint top on 20 points with Lazio (not that that makes the team any different). I even managed to put up with a crap team for the season and havent bought anyone yet, so i hope i can bring in one or two top players for next season, whether i get promoted or not.

Its not been easy. I can put up with most of the team, and Castolo isnt a bad forward at all for this level. But the Keepers!? There shocking! Letting me down so often! They aint half caused me to use some words i dare not utter here.

Im loving it none the less. :D
