"call of duty modern warfare 2 level no russian should be banned"

im making this thread about the level no russian on cod mw2 it should be banned what with going around a russian airport horribly murdering innocent civillians with a massive light machine gun so if your like me and think the level no russian should be banned then plz reply

you have a choice to skip this mission in the very beginning, so if you think it's wrong, select the skip option and skip it. quit complaining that it should be banned. You don't even have to kill any civilians to complete the mission.

Hey i havent played no russia yet but i do understand your thread. I think its wrong to kill uninvolved innocent people its just not right, but to some people its fun and kool. its just that everyone sees this in a diffrent perspective.

Kryptonite? I hate that sort of thing in games. Just wish they'd let you kill him and fail the mission. Then it would be more realistic ;)

Call me a maniac but I loved that level. If you quickly switch to the assault rifle and use the grenade launcher, you can kill them in bunches... good fun MWHAHA

And near the end (just before you pop into the ambulance) if you have the riot shield you can sort of shoot him a few times whilst taking all the bullets from him... I managed to kill his henchmen and shoot him in the head... how do you kill an invincible terrorist? :(

It is meant to be a serious game too. There are comical points in it, but killing innocents is killing innocents. If it is wrong to kill people on No Russian, then why is it ok to kill pedestrians and find it funny?

My main point is killing civilians in either game is wrong. Just because some humour is mixed in doesn't make it all ok. Hypothetically, if I were in the level No Russian and did that crime in real life - I'd be wrong. However, if I dressed up as a clown and yelled out jokes throughout the massacre and gave balloon animals to the corpses - just to instill humour onto the subject, would that make it ok?

It does indeed matter when you die. Ok, you're going to die anyway, but it's the fact that an american looks like he committed the massacre that's essential to the storyline. In fact, i don't see how the story works without this mission, seeing as this is the trigger.

because gta is a game made to be part crime part funny (i think) but cod mw2 is made to be as life like as possible besides if u punch a ped on gta they will probably fight back and gang members will attack u in a horrible probably killing peds (if they are getting in the way) but cod mw2 is terrorists and how terrible it is in a massacre but im just saying gta funny cod mw2 not funny

based on how the story pans out, generally it can't be missions failed. You die anyway. But the sad thing (or crap thing) is that you're considered a success if you die at the end of the level and not during the level. Does it really matter? I die either way, might as well, skip most of the hassle and just turn on makarov and rewrite the story.

You didn't collaborate with Makarov, you decided to uphold american ideals of democracy and freedom! You wanted to save innocent lives and he had his back to you. So you took the chance to save the world. You failed. Now america pays the price for a mistake.

Rather then

You trying to get even closer to makarov (being his henchman wasn't close enough) so you take part in a slaughter and kill more innocent people cops and die. You're partly responsible for the slaughter and hence some justification for the russians to get p****d off. Why didn't you just shoot makarov? how close were you expecting to get?

All this is just speculation and we could pull reasons out of a hat forever and still get no where.
