Seriously, it does. But what happened to the 2-Player co-op? I can only find a battle mode. Or isn't there a co-op mode?

Anyhoo, this game is fantastic. Still keeps the charm of the original, but with the addition of cool new Pikmin races and loss of time limit. The controls seem a little easier too.
Shame on those of you waiting for the UK release - IMPORT IT!!

I'll want to get everything I think :S Hope there's some bonus for getting them all like in the original where you get one of three ending FMVs depending on how many parts you got.

I'm in two minds about Second Sight - I'd like to give it a go, but I've already got Psi-Ops, which got pretty good reviews in the States.

I really can't wait to get in to the world of Pikmin. Knocking them out of the grass in Mario Golf makes me want the game even more.

Challenge mode is an excellent addition. Makes a very nice change, as does the battle mode.
I 'finished' the game, I only had 100 of 201 pieces of treasure.
Can't remember how long I've been playing so far though. Only took me 23 days but you have to remember that [game] time doesn't pass when you're in the caves so it's a lot longer than it sounds, I reckon overall Pikmin 2 is twice the play time of the original.
And then there is the improved challenge mode and the 2 player battle and co-op modes.

no but i put that cos it doesnt really have a currency, just numbers.

no but i put that cos it doesnt really have a currency, just numbers.

As long as you want, you have to get enough treasure to make £10,000 but after that there is even more treasure to collect and new levels, there is also secret challenge.
