I'm surprised nobody has made a topic with all the scare mongering going on.

I must say, reading my paper today I started to get a little edgy. My history lessons remind me of the Spanish Flu of 1918 that killed 50 million people

It also affects healthy youngsters like myself and I live in an urban area full of other young people, great.

I hope it kills us all, then we won't have to sit at a screen reading about it.

:-D Marvluss.

These things always remind me of Outbreak. Great movie, that.

Can this be passed on from human to human, or is it bird to human only? Sure I read something about that somewhere the other day.

Just shoot all birds trying to fly into the country. A big line of chavs with some BB guns along the coasts should do it. That way when all this is over, we can just build a big wall around them and everything will be rosy.

I've decided I don't really like this thread. I'm going to go and read about some pretty flowers and bunny rabbits instead.

Yep

For some reason the immune system backfires and starts to attack the lungs. Leading a painful, blood throthing death.

Though, it is interesting to note that in 1976 that it was feared it would be a 1918 attack but ended up not being much.
