So hey people, a thread about B&W2, seeing as it’s coming out soon and all that. The 7th of October apparently.

I know what most of us are thinking, namely that will they have fixed the massive problems that went with the original Black and White. I mean, I myself could never actually get past the 3rd island, you know, the rubbish one where your creature was taken away from you for no good reason, and you had to resort to lobbing stones at the nearby town in order to gain influence.

And the constant barrage of “We need more wood!” “We need more houses!” I’ll tell you what you need, alright mates? You need a good kick in the face.

But apparently they’ve fixed quite a lot of hat horrible stuff for the new one, plus the graphics are brilliant now. Oh, and your creature can get fat and hunch over and just groan at you, brilliant!

My personal favourites are these yokel ones:

Hello.

Get this game and play with me and Nash - we're gonna throw stones/villigers/creature feces at each other/the enemy.

See you online!

Quite low specs. Never been into B/W/Tamagochi, but it appeals more than WoW and has similar 'Build em up and smash em together' qualities. So maybe.

Hmmm, I bought the original one because of all the hype but, while I enjoyed the concept, I couldn't get into it enough to put any effort into it and always resorted to lobbing my little Men and Women all over the place.

I wouldn't mind a playable demo of this though.

Been following this as its developed over the past couple of months.

I enjoyed the first one, despite its flaws. I got up to the last island, y'know, the one where your creature shrinks everyday until you destoy them temples. Just couldn't do it, and the fact that your creature kept shrinking whilst the opposing god's creature was a giant just made it crap.

Meh, I was young then anyway.

The whole war factor looks promising for this second offering, smashing down walls and stuff and waging huge battles with villagers. I look forward to smashing down nOObs enemy walls online
