Just had a phonecall from my (old) school. Apparently I was one mark off an A* in Drama and they've decided to have it re-marked. Lovely. Apparently everyone else's marks were much lower than were expected and they're considering getting the whole batch looked at again. I wouldn't've bothered if it were down to me but seeing as the school's doing all the legwork I thought I might as well go for it.

Anyone here ever had any appeals, sucessful or not?

You still don't get it do you? Have you even read my original post?

EDIT: And I'm set for As and A*s.

Haha.

How the hell would I know if its possible? I'm not English. I was going from what I've heard, and what I've heard is that GCSEs are at a very similar level to Standard Grades. And if that is correct, then a C at GCSE level would equal a 3 at Standard Grade, something which really isn't all that great at all.

You said to down, "Don't get jealous", and my reply regarding your "sub-standard abilities" was, I believe, justified. He's hardly going to be jealous of you having no grades at all, currently set for Cs in GCSEs when he's got 6 A passes at Higher, now is he?

I also would have assumed even someone at level C in GCSE English would know where to put full stops and commas, but obviously you've proved me wrong.

It appears AJ misunderstood.

I just started year 10 for me to be on As I would have had to get levels 9s in all my subjects now I don't remember that being possible. Do you? You freaking bumwipe.

I wonder how many are 'just off a grade' as far as marks go?

I smell a marking board scam for more money...

Of course I don't know you, and that's something which I'm very thankful for.

The thing is, you goddamn retard, you told me what your abilities were, barely 10 posts ago. And as far as I'm aware, Cs in GCSEs aren't anything to be too delighted about. Especially in comparison to 6 As at Higher, all in relatively difficult subjects.

And on top of that, Cs are what you've been predicted to get; who says you're going to live up to your predictions? If your posts on here are anything to go by, I'd suggest your predictions are more than a little optimistic... or maybe GCSE standards are much lower than I ever imagined.

Yea, it's always best to try things out before you assume what you've heard is true.

Think of that next time you're near some cliffs.
