Looks like Rafa's made his mind up about Baros (and Dudek) so really seems to be a question only of who and when.
Sodding Schalke. At least if he'd gone to Aston Villa then I could have seen him play on TV.
Now he'll rot away in that most pointless of leagues, and no-one, not even his family will ever hear from him again. The ground will open up and swallow him.
Think of those poor Brummie kids, Milan - They need you.
Nooooooes.
EDIT: Oh, and Liverpool are being linked with Stelios. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bolton_wanderers/4721097.stm
Ooh, Schalke pull out because they're poor poor Germans. Poor Schalke fans, bet they thought they were about to actually get someone good.
So, now it's the 'mystery club' - Sky trying to add some interest to it after everyone knows it's Aston Villa, because there's no way in hell Baros will go to West Ham.
But he won't go, because of idiots (the scouse version of all Spurs fans) who'll scream "Judddaaassss!11!11".
Bet he's wishing he'd said yes to Barcelona last season now. Eto'o and Baros with 'Dinho supporting?
Yes please, says Catalunia.
Cisse is one of my players for next season, much respect for him. Morienttes(sp?) I'm sure is starting to settle and I really really like Peter Crouch.
But Baros is fantastic, in my eyes better than all 3 of them and would work well alongside crouch.
Look at these stats, proof he is Liverpool's best striker last season irrelevant of how many games the other strikers played:
