Cutting my hair is fairly simple, it doesn't even require scissors. I have a number 4 on top and a 3 around the back and sides. Easy, yes? Normally I pay £3.50 for this, which some may say is a bit expensive but today I almost had a heart attack after hearing the price.
Rip-off merchant: "That'll be £9, please."
Me: "£9!!!!"
Rip-off merchant: "Yeah, £9. Oh no, wait, you're under 18 so it's less."
Me: *sigh of relief*
Rip-off merchant: "It's actually £8."
Me: *shocked again, but pay anyway*
I only had £8 on me, it was unbelievable. It wasn't even a particuarly good cut, I think it was somebody on work experience that did it. Bah.

And then I susally tip them 1.50, because they give really good cuts.
:-)

Even tho I am 18, it costs me £6 for a weekday where I live and £8 at the weekend. That doesnt seem expensive really. I mean obvously it'll cost more at the weekend...

Yeh me too and its not exactly a fancy cut either. I can't believe some people actually pay £5 or less. Down here in Surrey *pauses for gasps of awe* £10 is a good price and you're moaning about paying more than a fiver to get your hair cut? Booo
Just an easy 9mm all over....
... grows to about 1 inch, or so, then I do it again.
Number 2 all over.
Job done.

But all they have to do is run the clippers over a couple of times. It's not hard, and £8 for less than 20 minutes work seems a bit over the top considering the difficulty levels.
