i can just imagine all the postmen nicking all the game shaped parcels for later sale on e-bay :D maybe you can buy it back off them on there :P

anyone out here a postman? if you are please tell all your postman buddies firstly dont steal any parcels that look like games and secondly please please please please deliver all mail especially early (ie before 8am)

Got the HL Gold Deal off Steam, and according to that HL:S hasn't even began pre loading which leaves me to understand there is no HL:S yet, no DoD:S (along with the rest of the Steam users), don;t see how thay can be shipping it with the collectors edition?

Does sound like a bum deal, but it's also a bit odd that for those of us who went Gold/Silver, we've also paid for CS/HL all over again?

Half Life: Source is being shipped with the Half Life 2 Collectors Edition though, be a bit of a crap deal if you bought and couldn't yet play it.

Yep, best deal of the three, £40 for four game, bargain.

Everyone's jumping the gun a little with the HL:Source and DoD:Source. These won't be available for a while yet, definatley not going to be here tomorrow.

Valve are still working on HL:S and DoD:S and have yet to fix any form of release date for either.

Out of interest, is the unlocking automated? I.E. If I leave steam running, it'll just move from the "coming soon" section to the "play" section?

Never been a huge fan of online content delivery systems, though have some faith in Steam as it was all re-written by the guy who invented BitTorrent only a couple of months ago.

Trying not to get too hyped about it, still suffering with the though of having to go to work at 7.55am, so won't be playing until I get home, almost 12 hours later!!

And please, please, please for the love of Christ, NO SPOILERS!!! Not until at least Wednesday!;)
