Yes and Hard Boiled was the film that the majority of Max Payne was based on. Watch 'The Killer' and then watch 'Hard Boiled' and then watch 'A better tomorrow' and voila, you have a live action version of Max Payne, just not cheesy and not a single American in sight.

Hard Boiled is a great film. As is "A Better Tomorrow."

My bro's got The Killer. I haven't watched it yet, though.

I'm actually a big fan of Ridley Scott films, but I haven't seen BHD yet.

Yeah, but The One was not a bad film - good concept but flawed in execution.

Ya should. Bloody excellent film, some of the best action scenes you're ever likely to see.
Also worth checking out is 'Bullet in the Head' another superb John Woo film.
It's one of those films that gets better every time you watch it. It's wierd, but if you like that sort of thing, then get it in. Tha won't be disappointed.
Also, Ghost Dog is a fairly good film that's worth getting on the cheap. It's a wierd mix of hip-hop, the way of the samurai, and the mafia. Somehow, it's a good film!
