Anyone ever seem "A Bugs Life"?

Where they're all sitting around discussing the world?
"Man, what if we're like just tiny parts of a world we can't even understand or see? We could be, like, tiny insignificant beings in this greater world"

Exactly

Exactly just like the Stars are too. See my cunning plan worked wonders: I forced someone to contradict me in order to emphasise my point.

That or I'm an idiot.

Yeah you tell that to the Gluupdongs in Naaboop, they'll fixate nitrogen at that suggestion.

Also when we portray Aliens on TV why are they always from Monolithic cultures? They only ever seem to have one God that is not disputed rather the plethora we have and have had, which reflect our differing cultures and evolution of mind and body.

And how do you know this? Like I said, if there was such a thing as an all powerful one, who can do anything, why should we be able to understand how supposedly impossible tasks are performed?

Humans are a clever race, but that doesn't mean we can understand everything, we simply understand what we need to.

The funny thing is: the Universe itself is God. We are silicon based life forms, Stars are silicon based entities. A Star can support life in the solar system that it holds in gravitational orbit, yet it will, in eons yet to pass, turn into the world eater after it becomes supernova and eventually forms a blackhole. Energy cannot be created or destroyed and the Universe has entropy, inertia and also quantum dimensions. This is all boggling stuff.

We exist as we are made in His own image: that of the Universe, one made up of atoms that arrange themselves to make Stars and humans, planets, and light.

Deep down we know this but can only express it "in human terms": thus we have an ultimate creator or creators, or concepts such as reincarnation or Gaia or Shamanism. All based upon human ideologies.

Humans are not the sole inhabitants of this universe so how come we assume that it was made with us in mind?

I think God could pick bogeys bigger than his own nose.

But as he's a nice chap with no such bad habits, he chooses not to.

On the subject of mastering ones own destiny, i used to think things were fated to be. But this was just an excuse to do nothing, and see where life took me.

I had some fun, drunk some beers, but that ride stopped, and now I have to do things myself, I realise that before I was just fortunate, and now if I want ought, I have to go get it myself.

Bloody hard changing the habit of a life time though.

Yup - time for me to don the armour, put on my nice white tabard with a big red cross on the front and start rampaging through the forums chopping down anyone who doesn't want to believe.
