LOL yes I think I know what you mean. Ah Watership Down, another favourite of mine ^^ I'll get round to watching Pom Poko, yes I'm sure it's different from all the other Ghiblis as well. Raccoons beating up humans because they've taken over their land, right? :D

Well, yes, but they're not Raccoons (the dub makes that mistake), they're Tanuki. It features a load of Japanese spiritual belief as well, if you're up on your Japanese folklore and mystical beliefs then you'll spot quite a lot.
Yes I have Alfonse :) I enjoy the series, my brother has them all on DVD. Been quite awhile since I've seen them, might watch them again when I have time ^^
What about Howl's Moving Castle? I really need to watch it again, the first time I saw it, it didn't ahve any subtitles heh.
