I keep putting it off every day :(
'Cannot read device' thank god i didn't delete the originals or format, i went to the creative forums and they just say 'Never use the zen to store important data'
why the feck would i put it on there if it wasn't important!!!
ordered a new usb lead in the hopes that this ones fault but if not i'm going to just do it to DVD but it would be better beng able to keep a constant backup on my zen adn update it now and then.
It could be USB hard drive time.
But the issue with many many pograms being uninstalled and reinstalled can cause slow down.
The Windows registry gets all beefy and annoying.
I remember someone saying the drive needs formatting every-so-often otherwise Windows goes really bad, can't say that's happened to me though.
It's my own fault really as i haven't formatted in over a year and in that time i've done a lot on here and installed many many different programs. i defrag once ever 2 weeks but i think there are too many just left over pieces on my system from previous installs.

Thanks, that might make me doing a format soon a little easier.
Everything seems fine...

Do you have to re-download the games you want to play or is there a way to keep them on another drive and copy them over when you re-install?
