Heh. But understandable really; less than 10% of XB owners are using Live; and MS are aiming for 50% of next gen users to go on Live when only 50% of Americans use broadband? Don't think so, Bach. Coupled with the fact that it's a hell of an effort and constant money sapper, and you have your logic.

I only buy titles at full-price if they're playable on Live.
The same goes for a lot of people.
You know MS are going to use the figures from those with Silver accounts (ie straight out of the box) who've hooked up their consoles for a quick download or two. Then again they might assume that all units sold with a Silver account are being used for Live in some way but that would be like Sony counting fixed PS2s as sales etc which never happens....

No offence, but me, you and the "lot of people" you refer to are moderate to hardcore gamers. As in, we actually read the news, keep up to date to some extent; it's a vast minority compared to the available market.
