The best advice I can give is to do something that you know you're good at or address what's lowered your spirits in the first place. I tend to grab a cookbook, lock the kitchen door, put some music on & start working.

Hi Busty_Bex and welcome to the Forums....

Why do you think that you have low esteem? Has something happened recently? Why are you critical of yourself?
What you must do is to try to control this feeling when it occurs. Get yourself a 'stop' word and everytime you feel low, say the 'stop' word to yourself! It sounds daft and it does take time, but it worked for me a few years ago ... so much so, that I still use it occasionally now.
My 'stop' word was 'stop' but it can be anything that suits you :¬)
Don't have 'low-esteem', all of us have been there at sometime, some longer than others, there is so much that you have that needs to be celebrated ... so celebrate!

Why do all newcomers have such suggestive names? I remember when they used to have wholesome names like Crossbob, Seraphim and Alfonse

You rang?

It's amazing really, I'm a massive perv but all my names have been pretty clean.

Having said that, I am named after an erotic writer.
