"Price of games- N64"

I can't believe that Nintendo 64 games are STILL £40. Some games are even £50. You could buy a second hand N64 for cheaper then the price of the games!!!! For fourty odd quid, I think it's a rip off. PS2 games cost nearly the same as N64 games. I know that N64 uses cartriges, but it's still a big con. If you ask me, N64 is to old to be on our shelves in this day and age. Bring on the GameCube, lose the N64!!!!!!!!

You people really are idiots. Just because the N64 memory card was £20 and 1 MB, doesn't mean if it was 8 MB it would be £160. Most N64 games didn't need a memory card, and some games took up about 1/100 of the total memory card space. World Is Not Enough on N64 took up one page out of about 250. So the amount of MB's mean nothing, because PSone and N64 memory cards are totally different.

Yeah, I saw it twice in my ONLY 2 issues of NOM. But I never actually noticed it was 256k, I was too busy looking at the 4mb/8mb memory card!! I couldn't believe the price of it!!

yeh, if you got any old issues of NOM lying about anywhere...they showed the best memory cards,pads,wheels etc in each issue. The official Ninty N64 memory card was a complete rip-off.

Maybe you're right??? Woah! That's a HUGE rip-off looking at the PS2 prices now!! Lets hope the GameCube's prices aren't so high!

You know, the offical Nintendo memory card was only 256KB...

I wondered something else. When first released, N64 memory cards (official 1mb ones) costed about £20! And now the PS" ones have been released, and an 8mb costs £30!! I'm glad the N64 never had official 8mb ones!! Imagine the price!!

We all live in different parts of the country.

2 of my brothers have one cos they like games like Jonna Lomu Rugby which you can only get on PS. My other brother liked games like Tony Hawks. I got one cos I like beat-em-ups, and there really wasn't that many of those on the N64!

Pretty much!! But he got a PS2, which I already own, so he didn't want his N64. That adds to my collection of owning a PSone, N64, a PS2 & a PC. And I previously owned 3 Dreamcast's (DON'T ASK WHY),another N64, an old PC, a PlayStation; and all the retro console like sinclair and Spectrum. Man, I'm mad, I know, and I ain't lying!
