"Buying Stuff from Ebay."

I'm one of the very few who have never bought anything from Ebay, and I don't have a clue how the thing works. So I would like to know if anyone here has bought anything from there, and how payments are made.

I'm looking for Toy Story 2 for either the Dreamcast or Playstation (there is one on ebay just now, but I can't buy stuff till the weekend), and Toy Story for the MegaDrive. If anyone has these and wants to sell them then we can maybe talk, but I would like some advice about Ebay.

I've won 3 auctions and I want all 3 items (DVDs). I sent a message with my 'Pay now' thingy-emaily-type-thing (y'know what I mean) asking for confirmation before I send the money.

Was I right to do so? Because after 1 day, they still haven't replied... I clearly said I won't send until I recieve a reply :-/

I'm gunna buy some bigger jiffy bags probably. About a quid for 5, I think.

I sent it last night. Just realised that all my cheap jiffy bags are gunna be too small :cD

Or you could scout around the checkouts and look for smallish boxes for free.

Tesco sell a cheap pack of brown paper / bubble wrap / tape / address stickers.
That's what I generally use to pack my irregularly shaped ebay stuff :)
