I've just got the game for myself, and I am STUCK! I can place two of the three Pearls in the statues, but I CAN'T get to the island south of Windfall Island (the one guarded by a Tornado). Any help? I keep getting sucked up...

The mini tornadoes don't do anything - and they don't make him appear when you go into them - nor do they dissapear when you beat him.

And the big ones only appear in certain squares. And he's p!ss easy to beat.

to get the pearl behind windfall island you have to shoot the slab starting from the top with yur bombs

By the way, in reference to that Walkthrough I described before, here are more mistakes from it:

"Gohma takes several minutes to beat"
"You have to Skull Hammer the Helmaroc King 10 times to hurt him"
"Jalhalla and Molgera are harder the second time around"
"It takes five Light Arrows to kill a Darknut"
"The Tower of the Gods is a very hard dungeon"

These are all quotes from the Walkthrough. Rubbish!

Indeed, rubbish. None of the dungeons in Wind Waker are particularly hard, and light arrows kill anything (except Ganon) in one hit.

Not quite - I used an Action replay Code to get the Bow and Light Arrows early in my second play-through. I used them on Molgera, Gohdan and the Helmaroc King and they didn't die in one. I see what you mean though.

BTW, some MORE rubbish from the Guide...

"You can defeat Gohdan without using any Bombs"
"To play the Ballad of Gales, press Down, Up, Left, Right"
"To get to Outset Island, sail east from Forest Haven"
"The Ghost Ship contains six ReDeads"

I'm starting to wonder whether the Guide is just TRYING to give the wrong info...

I've got most, now I just need:

Phantom Ganon
Cyclos
Darknut
Gohma
Kalle Demos
Ganondorf

Even more rubbish...basically, DON'T listen to this Guide!

"To kill Puppet Ganon, hit the orb six times"
"To play the Wind's Requiem, press Left, Up, Right"

Does anyone know where I can get the official strategy guide (I think it's Prima or Versus Books), WITHOUT buying over the Net?
