I would like to know which search engines you use ofr searching in the UK. If you list more than one could you give some idea of the percentage of use, e.g.
Google.co.uk 80%
Excite.com 20%
This will be useful to me in the work I am doing at the moment.
Thanks.

I ALWAYS use Google as it returns the best results. Sorry, that didn't help you did it :-D
Others - 1%
I do usually use google.com though, I don't really make UK specific searches most of the time.
*Reaper and RBS buzz around Tony until he swats at them with a rolled up search engine*
:-D
I use Sherlock 2 (on the Mac), which you would know about Tony, it searches all the search engines at once giving only the bets results...
...when on my PC I use different search engines depending on the search topic..
Entertainment and Music: Yahoo.com
Cars, Bikes and Travel and everything else: Altavista.com/uk
Altavista is probably the best as you can translate with babblefish and it is very easy to use with great results....
other than that google seems to return the best results.
Altavista
Lycos
Ask Jeeves
Hotbot
