I'm going to see it this Friday afternoon, so I'll definitely post some feedback then. Looks like a decent popcorn flick - nothing more, nothing less.
There's an article on IGN, by the people that produced it, about why it was such a failure.

i heard it didn't do very well as it was "too clever" for american auidiences, although that seems a tad snobbish.

I'm sure it's been receiving good reviews, shame that it's done so badly though. It'll only cost me £3.75 as a student so I may as well go and see it.
