I watched Broken Arrow recently and it got me in the mood for some 90's action films. Everything now seems to rely on rubish computer effects too much and I want something a little older before the CGI took off. Stuff like Broken Arrow, The Rock, Face/Off. Anyone got any recomendations?

Not full-on action all the way through, but one very well made (I thought) action film is The Bourne Identity.
Con Air- Mindless fun :)
Assault on Precinct 13 (original)- Quality '70s action thriller which is pretty much what you'd get if you mixed Night of the Living Dead with a crime thriller.
Mad Max 2- Awesome sci-fi action movie (not to be confused with the original, which is crap).
3000 Miles to Graceland- Worth watching just for Kurt Russell's Elvis impression.
Versus- Bloody gory Japanese offering in the same sort of style as From Dusk Till Dawn.
From Dusk Till Dawn- Bloody gory American offering in the same sort of style as Versus.

Yay, Starship Troopers. I remember watching that on video in my mates house. He had this really expensive video recorder which you could freeze frame on really well and we watched all of the gory bits in detail. I HAVE to get this on DVD. How could I have forgotten this.
