Try what? If you think that chosing a Williams will be better it wont. All the cars will be the same as I think it was Nobbyflagpole who has tried different teams and he said it makes no difference at all.

It doesnt matter who you pick, because in theory the Williams cars would be the ones to pick because of there few Kph advantage.

There are 2 shortcuts which you probably know asda and they are the bus stop and the corner after the straight just after the first time section.

The way to get a fast time is to be smooth and find a good racing line through the lap. At one point I found that you can be carrying an extra 15 mph just from taking the corner right. When driving you dont relise that even that extra 0.1 second on the brakes could give you a better turn into the corner and let you get a better exit that could give you 0.2 seconds advantage.

In F1 you need to take every corner at the absolute limit, you need to break as late as you can get around the corner smoothly and get on the power as soon as you can and try to build up speed to the next corner.

I started at 1:51:00 then learnt the circuit and went from that down to a 1:45:00.

if someone very bored wil you please tell me how you get super fast times like 1min 42sec, i find it very hard to beat 1min47. Is there a shortcourt as im already cutting corners to a time like 1.47. HOW are you doing it.

It is a sad day for me. I have now officially retired from the SCEE F1 2001 time challenge due to not being able to get to Silverstone. I would have been in the top eight if I had kept on teying for better times but have now stopped.

But I still top the SR challenge! Wohoo!
