Anyone ever ate chocolates from Thorntons before?

I bougth some earlier and will have some tonight.

As far as i know they dont have thorntons in america, no1 ive talked to online ( out of hundreds) from the states have heard of it. Ive been send alsorted hersheys kisses.. tastes nothing like our chocolate, ok but not as nice..more like the kind you get in cheap xmas tree choccy decorations, or from the fair.

I am a complete thorntons addict.. its the best chocolate going! Pricey though. The continental truffle selection is lush.

I was on holiday in america last year. Their ice cream and milkshakes are brilliant (though a medium ice cream is about 10 inches high) but their sweets (candy) seems a bit weird. Not sure bout the chocolate but i had some home made brownies which were considerably better than anything ive had in england. To be honest, I liked the fireworks store more (one big store that ONLY sells fireworks!)
