Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

I started off with Arsenal...but I kept winning so i'm thinking about managing another team like Southend, but then it might be too hard.

...nah, i'll stick with the champions.

This actually is pretty bad, Strid. I know you didn't mean to buy a pirated disc, but why shave off £5 for a game which could be pirated?

I mean, fair do's if it's a SNES game, I mean you can't buy them, but - and this is why I'm pi$$ed off - SI games is actually a very small developer as well as being UK based. Small UK developers hardly have a chance in the current market, with most of the more talented people who work for them being absorbed into EA or suchlike...

So I vastly support SI.

Actually, what really annoys me is it is so easy to download the game for free.

Argh...

You wouldn't have liked the reading in The Times a week or 2 back. It had a whole 2 pages on how all of the "big" little companies of the UK were getting bought up by EA or dissolved through bankruptcy. I can't remember the exact figures, but it was painful reading at just how much carnage there had been in the last year alone.

Hehe...I know what you mean Coin. I got annoyed at my m8 for pirating Half-Life 2 and then convincing everyone else to do the same. OK so you can't compare Valve's size with SI's but I think it is such a good game that you should pay £30 for it.

Hey Coin, I didn't know it was a pirated version at first. But I was too busy to send it back when he told me it was.

GRRR! Just played it for ages, and did quite well, only lost 1 match out of about 10, then I went to close it and instead of click 'yes I would like to save the game' I clicked 'no' GGGRRRRR!!!

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
